Forney Volunteer Information - transitioning to long-term recovery projects
posted almost 9 years ago by Gonzo
Folks, please be patient (as I am having to remind myself at this moment) and understand we are dealing with a volunteer effort and things aren't always as smooth as we would like.
To that end, I have just had a couple of phone conversations and there is a very real possibility that some more work crews will be needed today, tomorrow, etc. The folks sending you to Lancaster and Royse City are trying to do the right thing, but that isn't the full story. There are still many, many homes that need to be touched, but there is a pause while the Insurance process takes place. If you are wanting to assist physically, please register here and click the I want to Volunteer button. Please include WHEN you will be available to work in Diamond Creek. As more information rolls in and homeowners ask for assistance, we will contact you.
Sorry for the false-stop. We are doing the best we can with the info that is being passed to us.
